Our day was so special, thanks to all of you! We couldn't be more grateful!
Your presence at our Wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, we have registry setup that can be accessed through the link below.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The Rancho Bernardo Inn is located at 17550 Bernardo Oaks Dr, San Diego, CA 92128.
For those travelling from afar, we recommend flying into San Diego International Airport. Located next to downtown, the airport is approximately a 30 minute drive to Rancho Bernardo Inn. We highly suggest utilizing car rentals or Uber to navigate around San Diego.
For those attending locally, the venue can be easily reached from the Rancho Bernardo Road exit off of the Interstate 15.
For guests wishing to spend the night (or longer), we've listed a few accommodation options below to choose from. We recommend arriving Thursday or Friday morning to make the most of your time in San Diego.
Rancho Bernardo Inn
We have secured a room block with discounted rates at Rancho Bernardo Inn. However, due to several events taking place that weekend, there is limited availability. To book accommodations within the block, please click here. If you prefer to call & speak with a reservations agent, dial 844-226-8262 and ask for the Barbosa/Baczkowski Room Block.
In the event that rooms are no longer available within the block, we highly suggest going directly to Rancho Bernardo Inn's website and booking accommodations at the best available rate. Click here to view availability.
Nearby Accommodations
For additional accommodations near the venue, there is a Courtyard Marriott & a Hilton Garden Inn within a few miles of the venue.
Coastal Accommodations
If you are looking for more coastal accommodations, we highly recommend the neighborhoods of Del Mar, La Jolla, Solana Beach or Mission Bay. There are plenty of hotel & Air BNB options to choose from!
San Diego, commonly referred to as America's Finest City, is known for it's world class beaches, weather, attractions, TACOS, and much much more! If you are looking to extend your stay beyond the wedding, there is no shortage of things to do.
Attractions
San Diego Zoo - World famous zoo housing over 12,000 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies on 100 acres of Balboa Park. An absolute Must See!
San Diego Safari Park - The sister park to San Diego Zoo, located in Escondido, offers a unique take on the zoo experience. Here you can walk among Kangaroos, off-road alongside Rhinos & Giraffes, & even catch a glimpse of the illusive Platypus.
Sea World - Just a stones throw away from downtown, Sea World offers roller coasters, animal encounters, and unique educational exhibits that bring awareness to their marine life conservation efforts.
LEGOLAND - Most famously known as where we met… Located in Carlsbad, LEGOLAND is the perfect theme park experience for children ages 2-12. With a recently opened LEGO Movie World, this theme park will NOT disappoint!
La Jolla Cove - If you want to get up close to the famous La Jolla seals & sea lions, this is the place to go. Make sure to pop into the Cave Store where you can take a tunnel down into one of the many sea caves that dot the cliff walls.
La Jolla Shores - If you are looking to have a beach day or some recreational fun, La Jolla Shores can't be beat. Soak up some rays, rent a paddle board, explore the sea caves in a kayak, or maybe snorkel with a leopard shark or two (Don't worry, they're friendly!).
Mission Beach/Belmont Park - Offering the west coast's version of a classic boardwalk experience, Mission Beach is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Take a ride on a roller coaster, grab a bite to eat, or check out some of the many shops along the boardwalk.
Scenic/Outdoors
San Diego has no shortage of open space. Whether you're looking for a scenic overlook, a park, or a place to hike, there is something for everyone.
Balboa Park (Park/Walk) - While Balboa Park is known as the home of the San Diego Zoo, there is much more to explore. From botanical gardens, museums, art displays, & street vendors, you can easily spend a day here.
Torrey Pines (Hike) - Located right in our backyard, Torrey Pines is home to the world famous Torrey Pines golf course. With over 8 miles of cliffside trails, you will be greeted with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from hundreds of feet up. We consider this a must do for visitors.
Sunset Cliffs (Walk) - With over 2 miles of trails along the coast, this scenic walk passes sea caves, tide pools, and much more. A local favorite spot to take in a west coast sunset (hence the name).
Cabrillo National Monument (Point Loma) - Located just south of Sunset Cliffs, Cabrillo National Monument offers sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Mission Bay, and downtown San Diego.
Potato Chip Rock (Strenuous Hike) - While this hike is rated strenuous and takes anywhere from 4-5 hours to complete, the sweeping views and envy inducing photo ops make this completely worth it.
Iron Mountain (Moderate Hike) - Located right next to Potato Chip Rock, Iron Mountain offers similar views with a much shorter climb time (approx. 2 hours).
Restaurants & Dining
The Bier Garden (Encinitas, CA) - The location of our first date and many dates since. Located in the heart of downtown Encinitas, the Bier Garden has great cocktails, local craft beers, & some really yummy dishes.
Pillbox Tavern (Solana Beach, CA) - Steps away from Adam’s first home in California, Pillbox holds a special place in our heart. You can’t go wrong with a Margarita (classic or frozen mango), tacos, or literally anything else on their menu.
Best Pizza & Brew (Cardiff, CA) - If you’re craving an east coast slice, but west coast beach views, you can find both here. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken pizza.
Board & Brew (Del Mar, CA) - The original location of a SoCal staple, and conveniently located blocks away from the beach, Board & Brew sandwiches are perfect for a picnic by the beach. Adam recommends the Tom’s Choice with extra sauce.
Robertos Taco Shop (Del Mar, CA) - Roberto’s is the perfect place to post up after hiking Torrey Pines. Offering scenic views and delicious California Burritos, you’ll start feeling like a San Diego local in no time.
Little Italy (Downtown San Diego) - Home to many authentic Italian restaurants & bakeries, you’ll find limitless amounts of pasta, pizza, & cannolis/gelato. Highly recommend Barbusa (no affiliation to Jordan Barbosa).
Gaslamp Quarter (Downtown San Diego) - If you’re looking for a night on the town, look no further. Packed with restaurants, bars, clubs, (and a speakeasy a two), Gaslamp has all the ingredients for a fun night out.
Drinks & Tastings
Craft Beer - Fun Fact: San Diego is the craft beer capital of the US. You’re probably familiar with the big names like Stone, Ballast Point, & Green Flash, all of which have local tasting rooms & brewery tours to enjoy. If you’re looking to try something new, we recommend AleSmith, Latitude 33, Mother Earth, Belching Beaver.
Wineries - Napa Valley gets most of the attention, but Southern California has a bustling wine scene as well! Most vineyards are located in Escondido (or Temecula if you’re willing to drive a little further) and offer tastings on their sunny patios with sweeping mountain views.
Hard Kombucha - A new sensation in the adult beverage rotation, hard kombucha is certainly worth checking out. Notable breweries & tasting rooms in the area include Boochcraft & JuneShine.
Cutwater Craft Cocktails - This pre-made cocktail & spirit maker is headquartered here in San Diego. Stop by their restaurant & tasting room to sample our favorite drink: the Vodka Mule.
